Aesthetically pleasing experience for new online store

Nobo Bags is an established brand offering a wide selection of bags and accessories with a future outlook on woman's clothing. Atomstore, a premium e-commerce platform invited me to conceptualise, wireframe and design the online store.

The result is a modern, stylish and airy and easy experience with a focus on brand visuals.

Nobo Bags is revamping its brand together with digital, e-commerce experience.

The team was challenged to create a visual architecture that eases the browsing experience of the vast amount of bags and colour variants. Airy layout and style improve the visual part of selecting the right bag. Browsing, filtering and selecting the right model is intuitive and playful.

We tried multiple layouts of product cards, listings and landing pages to maintain a balance between big visuals, a huge number of vivid product variants and an efficient shopping experience.

During the ideation phase, at the workshops, we defined and co-designed core functionalities. We worked on multiple layouts and interactions to deliver:

  • Dedicated layouts for landing pages

  • Brand-oriented interactive elements

  • Big, captivating visuals

  • Performing checkout experience

  • User profile pages

Minimalistic yet colourful digital experience

I worked closely with clients to establish a common approach to content creation and how smaller pieces can build a cohesive brand image. With limited product types, we defined the desired final look for the production. I used the rich visual content from the main photoshoot to give the site energy. Together with the client’s marketing team, we settled on how the product should be presented, and what information should be highlighted at every stage of the process. I really enjoyed those sessions. To ensure a consistent experience for all users, every piece of content needed to be fully accessible on desktop and mobile.

In the discovery phase, user can:

  • be notified about the products or campaigns with selected ways of notification - email or web push

  • land in the campaign, browse and filter items

  • browse product variants

  • create a list of favourites items

Filters were introduced to narrow down the selection of deals

The product card was built with a sense of control in mind, where user can take an informed decision.

Clear checkout experience

We build a clear and understandable checkout experience. I designed engaging free delivery information with product recommendations. To ensure a consistent experience for all users, every piece of content needed to be fully accessible on desktop and mobile.

I carefully designed all the components to be easy to use, match the brands identity, be technically feasible and give pleasant treat to the users eye. I designed error states with error texts.
